The goal of the HACCP System which was implemeted at CD S.A., is to ensure the health safety of the products that we offer. This system ensures that all of the operations related to production of our honeys, starting from the procurement of raw honey, through storage, de-crystalization, standarization, packaging and sales, are monitored and controlled in a systematic and planned manner.

These activities are designed to focusing of our attention at the sequential steps and conditins of the production process, which are critical to ensure the safety of food production. Following this logic, in order to guarantee the safety of our products to our clients, our company has formulated, prepared, and implemented as well as maintained the HACCP and ISO systems. Additionally, we have received the certificates for IFS and BRC systems. The systematic checks and audits, conducted by outside independent experts, confirm that our practices are in accordance with all procedures and declarations.

About Honey

Bees do not gather honey with the purpose of benefitting the humans. They do so in order to preserve their species. Honey is one of the elements of their "diet," and once picked by the bees, it is stored in honeycombs as food supply.
